To provide the best care, quality and convenient after sales service for Bajaj, KTM as well as other brands of 4-wheel vehicles in the Northern Province, David Pieris Motor Company (Pvt) Limited laid the foundation stone for DPMC Workshop in Jaffna.

The foundation stone laid by Hon. Mr. Jeevan Thiagarajah, the Governor of the Northern Province at a simple ceremony attended by David Pieris Group President, Mr. David Pieris, Group Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Rohana Dissanayake and other officials.

The DPMC Workshop Jaffna will be constructed at No. 405, Brown Road, Kokuvil East, Kokuvil and a Bajaj Genuine Spare Parts Outlet will also operate at the same location.

Commenting on the proposed new workshop in Jaffna, DPMC’s Deputy General Manager (Field Service) Mr. Channa Ranawaka said, “We have always invested in providing the highest levels of after sales care and technical support for Bajaj vehicles and now with import restrictions, it is even more critical to maintain and service existing vehicles. This is why we are extending the services of our in-house expertise, to other parts of the country through our own DPMC Workshops.”

Bajaj vehicles are synonymous with affordable transportation and often the only means of transport for people and goods, and vital source of livelihood in rural Sri Lanka. Therefore, despite the unavailability of brand new vehicles DPMC has continued to support existing customers by ensuring that they have easy access to genuine spare parts and the best after sales support.

Similar, DPMC Workshops currently operate in Matara and Madapatha, while DPMC – Workshop Express have also been opened in Badulla, Ratnapura, Anuradhapura, Kurunegala, Mathugama and Ampara providing selected maintenance, running repairs, minor accident repairs, etc.  for Bajaj vehicles.
